Thank you for your interest in the SRBA

The Southeastern Retail Bakers Association is comprised of licensed Retail Bakers, Baking Industry Companies, and Culinary Educators.

  • Our Retail members are primarily in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee but we are happy to include qualified members from anywhere.

  • Our Allied members cover many aspects of the Baking Industry and the products they produce.

  • The SRBA has recently partnered with Virginia College‚Äôs Culinard program to assist in the education and employment of Culinary Students into the Baking Industry.

Members of our organization are committed to our motto - Bakers working for Progress and Profit.  We know that by sharing information we all become better business people.  We gather at Workshops and Conventions to learn more in a classroom atmosphere, away from the interruptions of daily business.  Our Workshops migrate throughout the Southeast and will be held at Culinard Schools for the foreseeable future. We demonstrate trends and techniques in baking and decorating, valuable business information, and information on merchandizing/marketing.  It's also an opportunity to meet with Allied members of the Baking industry, whether in a class as a subject matter expert or at a Vendor Booth with their latest products.

What are the benefits of an SRBA Membership?

  • You'll recieve the SRBA's Baker's Apron Newsletter (published 6 times per year) by mail

  • The opportunity to list any equipment for sale/wanted in the Baker's Apron

  • New Member Packet - includes the current list of SRBA Members, a copy of the By Laws, an SRBA Vinyl Window Sticker for your business, a Formula Book created by the SRBA on CD, and helpful reminder signs for your business.

  • Education Reimbursement - should you test for and PASS the CD, CJ, CB or CMB exam, the SRBA will reimburse you for half (50%) of the cost of the test.

  • Member rates at Workshops and Conventions from the moment you sign up

  • To the Retail Member - You have an ally in the Baking Industry. There are others that have had the same issues you're facing at your business and can share what they've learned to solve them.  There are Allied Members ready to assist you with product questions.

  • To the Allied Member - You have a market of businesses that use your product or service.  Providing hands-on demonstrations of your products gives the businesses a greater opportunity for success with them.
